The following information will give you an overview of flushing with Cobra™ products; what we call The Cobra™ Solution.

A/C System Flushing... The Cobra™ Solution.

The Objective of the Cobra™ Closed-loop Flush Machine and Cobra™ Flush is to provide the reasonable assurance of a clean, contamination free A/C system by flushing away dirt and debris. Because even a small quantity of contaminant left inside the A/C system you just serviced can come back to haunt you.

The Concept: The Cobra™ continuously circulates flush fluid through:
· the A/C system (one half at a time),
· and through a Cobra™ flush filter, so that only clean flush fluid is pumped through the A/C system being serviced.

The Machine: The Cobra™ A/C System Flush Machine is an Air Operated, Fully Automatic and Continuous, Closed-Loop Flush & Purge Machine. Designed to be easy, safe and labor saving; You hook it up and it does the work.
I. Flushing procedures, an overview:
1. Choose either the Hi or Lo side to hook up to first.
2. Connect Cobra Couplers to the A/C.
3. Flush for 20 to 30 minutes. Extend flushing time as needed.
II. Purging procedures, an overview:
1. After Flush cycle is complete, turn lever to Purge.
2. Purge for 20 to 30 minutes. Extend purging time as needed.
III. CHECK FLUSH FILTER.
IV. REPEAT FLUSH AND PURGE PROCEDURES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE A/C SYSTEM.

Q. How long to Flush?
A. There is no universal amount of time to flush a system. You literally flush until the system is clean. This could be anywhere from 20 minutes to, in the case of a severe blockage, much longer.

The Flush: With all that we know, it just doesn't make sense to use anything but an Ester based flush fluid. After extensive research we developed Cobra™ Ester Flush using all the latest knowledge and technology available to us. It not only accomplishes all the goals of FLUSHING, but it is safe (high flash pint 275º F) and cost effective. Cobra™ Flush contains specific additives which:
· suspend particalates,
· thoroughly clean the system,
· dissolve common blockages and
· add corrosive resistance.
Cobra™ Ester Flush fulfills the logic of flushing; it accomplishes everything that flushing was designed to do. And it is "good medicine" for the A/C system. Remember, the ability to clean is not enough; many chemicals have the ability to clean the system... but can destroy it.

Black Death, Saved
How to handle the Severely clogged A/C System: In the case of Black Death, or other severe blockage that stops circulation, allow Cobra™ Flush to stand in the component and dissolve the blockage.
When a severe blockage occurs the back-pressure valve will automatically stall the machine. You then:

· Shut off your Cobra™ Flush machine and let the Cobra™ Ester Flush stand for 30 minutes. This allows the special solvents to work at dissolving the blockage.
· Try flushing again.
· Repeat as needed.
· Replace the flush filter. (Normally, change the Cobra™ Flush Filter between 10 to 15 flushes.)
